Hints: As their profit is equal at the end of the year, their ratio is equal to their capital ratio oppositly
Their capital ratio is = 21000 : 36000 = 21 : 36 = 7 : 12
So, their time ratio is equal to 12 : 7
A has contributed for 12 months
and B contributed for 7 months
So, B has joined after 12 - 7 = 5 months
